God’s Love is revealed to all of mankind through the Death, the Burial and the Resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ:
John 14:13
And whatsoever ye shall ask
in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
I come in the name of Jesus Christ the
Lord of my life and the Saviour of my soul asking for mercy and wisdom in
writing this message to all those who will read this. I ask that those
people who are saved and attending church but not walking as the Lord would
have them to that they would understand the truth and repent and be set
free from the things that are hindering their relationship with the Lord
Jesus Christ. I pray for all those people who are saved but are not
attending church that they would repent and that the Lord would lead them
to a Bible believing and preaching church that they could start attending
again. I pray that the unsaved would come to know the truth about the
Gospel of Jesus Christ and that they would become Born Again Christians,
allowing Jesus Christ to become the Lord of their lives. I would like
to ask the Lord to bless the Holy Spirit Ministry, by opening up some doors
enabling me to go and tell what the Lord has laid upon my heart for the body
of Christ. I pray for the finances of the Holy Spirit Ministry [USA],
that the Lord would raise up people that would help. I pray that God
would raise up workers that would be able to help by supporting the work
of the Holy Spirit Ministry of India.
Philip. 4:19
But my God shall supply all
your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Opening Scripture:
1 John 3:16-17
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid
down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
[17] But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need,
and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love
of God in him?
I received the Love of
God [the indwelling Holy Spirit] the moment I accepted Jesus Christ as my
personal Saviour and the Lord of my life.
1 Cor. 13:1
Though I speak with the tongues
of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass,
or a tinkling cymbal.
As I continue in my mediation
and remember the words that I have preached in the past, I have come to this
conclusion. The words that I have spoken in the past mean nothing if
I did not speak them in the Love of God.
2 Cor. 5:10
For we must all appear before
the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in
his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
When I get to heaven and I
stand in front of the Lord, He will command me to give an account of my actions
[works] and the words that have spoken while on this earth. That is
why the Holy Spirit was sent down from Heaven, to help me to do the right
things while here on earth, to point others to the Cross of Calvary where
Jesus Christ died for the sins of mankind.
John 14:16
And I will pray the Father,
and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
The Comforter is the light
of the Love of God and it is the Holy Spirit that gives me the confidence
[faith] in Christ to believe the Word of God.
Ephes. 3:12
In whom we have boldness and
access with confidence by the faith of him.
The Love of God also gives
me the faith to believe in the fact that my life is hid in Christ and that
the Lord lives in and through me for others to see His Love in action.
John 15:5
I am the vine, ye are the branches:
He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for
without me ye can do nothing.
This last
Scripture is continually reminding me that I must submit myself to the leading
of the Holy Spirit who lives in me and make it possible for me to share the
Love of God with others that I come in contact with.
James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore
to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
He is the power behind
the Love of God giving me the ability to allow that Love to be seen through
my actions as well as my words. He also gives me the ability to resist
the temptations that come my way that can over shadow the light of the Love
of God.
1 Cor. 13:2
And though I have the gift of
prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have
all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
Again when I meditate
on this subject of the Love of God, I think about the gifts that the Lord
has given me to share with the body of Christ as well as the rest of the
world. In everything that I do my motivation must be the Love of God.
John 14:20-21
At that day ye shall know that I am in
my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. [21] He that hath my commandments,
and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be
loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
But if I do those
things without allowing the Love of God to be the motivating force, my actions
then can bring me into disobedience, and cause me to become proud, and everything
that I have accomplished will become worthless in the eyes of the Lord.
1 Cor. 13:3
And though I bestow all
my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have
not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
As I look at what I do and what I say,
I must look at this last Scripture first. I must see that all my good
works mean nothing at all if I do not have the Love of God as my motivation.
1 Cor. 13:4
Charity suffereth long,
and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed
up,
When Charity [the Love of God] is active in my life, others will be able to
see it through my actions, and my words. I must remember that when I
get my feelings hurt or I hear that someone has said something about me that
is not true, I must still allow the Love of God to help me to be kind to
them because, the Lord abides within my heart. The Love of God gives me the
ability to wait upon the Lord and see that everything will be turned
around for my best interest.
Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together
for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his
purpose.
I must keep this last
Scripture in my mind when I meditate on it so that I will be able to make
sure that my actions are motivated by the Love of God, not my flesh.
Also, the Love of God will keep me from being proud and thinking that I’m
more spiritual then others.
1 Cor. 13:5
Doth not behave itself
unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
As I live in the
Love of God and allow that love to flow through me, my life will then line
up with what I read in this last Scripture. My behavior will not be
centered on itself, or be provoked to do evil, or to think evil thought, because
it is the Love of God that abides within my heart.
1 Cor. 13:6
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth
in the truth;
When the Love
of God is the motivating force in my life, I cannot delight in evil, but my
actions will reflect that I rejoice in the truth of God Word.
1 Peter 1:8
Whom having not seen, ye love;
in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable
and full of glory:
The Light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the truth that brings
to my heart joy that is unspeakable and is full of the Glory of God.
1 Cor. 13:7
Beareth all things, believeth
all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Again
when the Love of God is in operation I will be able to cope with everything
that comes my way. I will still retain my hope in that Jesus Christ,
my Lord and Saviour, would return soon in the midst of every situation that
comes my way. The Love of God also gives me the ability to endure the
good and bad that comes my way when I give everything to the keeping of Jesus.
1 Cor. 13:8-10
Charity never faileth: but whether
there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall
cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. [9] For we
know in part, and we prophesy in part. [10] But when that which is perfect
is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
The Love of God that lives
within my heart will never fail me; it will never cease to be there;it is
eternal. The words of prophesy that others might speak to me are subject
to interpretation and can be wrong, but the love of God will never fail me.
The words of knowledge that are spoken to me are also subject to interpretation
and can also be wrong, but not the Love of God. It will always give
me the ability to help others and the ability to believe that the Lord will
always give me the fulfillment that my heart needs.
Mark 11:24
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever
ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
The Love of
God which is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God
that is written down on the tablets of my heart and in the Holy Bible that
I hold in my hand will never pass away. It will stand true for eternity.
They both are the fulfillment of the Love of God for me and for all of mankind.
1 Cor. 13:13
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these
three; but the greatest of these is charity.
The
Love of God that abides within my heart contains both Faith and Hope, but
Charity [Love] is the greatest of them all. It is what holds my heart
close to the heart of God.
1 John 3:16-17
Hereby perceive we the love
of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our
lives for the brethren. [17] But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth
his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him,
how dwelleth the love of God in him?
The love that God
showed to all of us through what His Son did on the Cross of Calvary must
be the motivating force behind everything that I do. I must also be
willing to give everything that I have for the sake of Christ who lives in
my heart.
1 John 4:9
In this was manifested the love
of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world,
that we might live through him.
The Bible
is the mirror that I must look into to be able to see what truly is within
my heart. When I look into my own heart, do I see that my heart is
obedient to the Word of God?
1 John 5:3
For this is the love of God,
that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
