The Words of God to Live our Lives By:

Just Say Yes to Jesus, When He Speaks to Your Heart:

Prayer in Jesus Name:

Psalm 2:8
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

I would like to start this prayer by praising  my Heavenly Father, and by expressing my thanks, for saving my soul and calling me to a ministry of an Evangelist and placing me into the Holy Spirit Ministry.  I ask that the Lord would open up the hearts of the people who will be reading this News Letter.  That He would give them the ability  to understand what they read and to give them the knowledge and wisdom to live accordingly to what they read.  That the Holy Spirit would remind them of the things that the Lord has already spoken to their hearts and give them the ability to obey what the Lord has told them to do.

 Luke 24:45
Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

I also ask the Lord to give those people who are not saved and read this, the ability to understand what the Lord is calling them to do.  That the Holy Spirit would draw them into a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

 John 6:44
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

All that is spoken of in this letter would be as if the words were coming right out of the mouth of God Himself.  That the Lord would receive all the Glory and Honor for anything that one would receive out of this News Letter.  In the name of Jesus Christ A-Men:

 Rev. 4:11
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for
thy pleasure they are and were created.

Opening Scripture:

 Romans 6:13
Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

The way we live our lives while upon this earth reflects wether we are serving the Lord or our own fleshly desires.

 Galatians 5:16
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

The act of saying yes to God as he speaks to your heart, is the essence of what the Word of God has to say concerning the subject of following the Will of God.

 John 12:26
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

Exhortations by the Holy Spirit:

Luke 9:23
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

When I obey the words that are written down in this last Scripture and pick up my cross and follow the Lord.  As I walk the pathway of a Christian life, my actions will then reflect that I have become open to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

 John 13:35
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Then I will be able to answer yes when the Lord calls me to do something.  That is when the Holy Spirit will be able to do the work of the Lord through me.

 Philip. 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

The Lord will then be able to give me the ability to deny the desires of my flesh and to follow the Lord’s leading.

 James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Words of Encouragement:

 Luke 6:47
Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

The Lord would like to give us all a few words of encouragement.  Because, some of us might be saying.  How can I know when it is God, that is speaking to me?  God, would say to us that when you are my son or daughter you will know my voice and you will follow me.

 John 10:27
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

The Holy Spirit will always remind us of what the Lord told his disciples when he was with them on this earth to assure us.

 John 14:26
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

You might say how can I know that?   One way you can know is by attending Church on a regular basis consistently.  How do I know when it is the Holy Spirit is speaking to me? It is by faith, through the Word of God that you hear while in Church.  And through faith the Holy Spirit is able to give us the  ability to believe that the Lord that will and does speak to us personally.

 Luke 21:38
And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.

We can hear the Lord by we seek him and this can be accomplished through many ways. One way we can hear the Lord is through the preaching of the Pastor at Church. And also through church attendance through prayer, through just talking with another Christian.  The Lord can use these many ways to give us the instructions that we need to accomplish his will for our lives.

 Proverbs 8:34
Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

But sometimes we might hear something that we are to do, but we are not sure that it is for us. That is when we must be willing  to receive the instructions that we need to confirm what we have heard.  The Lord will always confirm what he has spoken to the heart through two or three different ways.

 2 Cor. 13:1
This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

We can receive these confirmations through our Pastor or another Born Again Christian, or even that still small voice that comes from deep within our hearts.  For it is the voice of the Holy Spirit that abides within our hearts  speaking to us through that small still voice.

 John 14:17
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Again the Lord said that there might be some of us that would say that I could not do this or that.  The answer that the Lord would give us is this.

 Philip. 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

We can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives us the strength to accomplish all things that he has called us to do.  We must remember that the strength comes from within us, not by our own fleshly strength.

 1 Cor. 3:16
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

The same power that rose up the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead, also abides within your hearts.

 Romans 8:11
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

When the words of this last Scripture become planted deep within our hearts, we will then be able to truly believe that the work that he has called us to do will be done through his own power not ours.  We then will be able to truly say as Jesus did, not mine will be done through me but the will of God will be done through me.

 Luke 22:42
Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

The Lord also said that some might say to me.  I have not been called to a distant land to serve the Lord.  He told me to give them this answer.  The Mission field starts with your own family and then it spreads outward into your own cities, states, our counties and even the whole world.

 John 13:34-35
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. [35] By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

The Mission field might not even be the Ministering of the Word of God to others.  But the sharing of the Love of God with others  from a heart that has been changed by the indwelling power of God that abides within.

In Closing:

To say Yes to the Lord when he calls is just a step of faith.  When the calls us to do something, it is not necessarily a call to Preach, Teach, or even to become an Evangelist.  But it could be a call to go and help someone that is in need of something that you can help them with.

1 Thes. 5:14
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

It may just be a word of encouragement or the sharing of something that you have that could bring them joy.

Luke 6:35
But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Doing so, our actions will then allow others to see the Love of God working through us, and the Lord will get all the Glory.

A Closing Prayer:

John 17:3
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

I pray that everyone who reads this would come to realize that the Lord can use them to do whatever he calls them to do.  That the lost soul who also reads this would come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.  In the Name of Jesus Christ I Pray, A-Men:

Col. 1:10
    That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
